Reid was saved two or three times today. It was amazing! First he got a completely random and strange email from a stranger saving his soul and then he got a tract later on in the day. Haha. It was a good laugh. At least his soul is twice as clean as the rest of us.

I am sick. I woke up yesterday with a really sore throat from the overhead fan being on all night. Boohiss. Although I’m feeling a bit better, I’m not 100% yet.
We are staying at Pete’s house from Present magazine. Pete interviewed us a little while back, and put an article in his e-zine about us to help promote the show tonight. He’s extremely nice, and it’s constantly humbling to encounter such amazing hospitality so far on our trip.
I am excited to play tonight. This will be the first show that we get to play our music on the tour so far. Woo! It’s at this little bar called the The Record Bar, and we’re playing with local KC bands called “The ACB’s” and “It’s Over.” I am also a bit anxious to see how the turnout is. Last time we played here, there wasn’t many people that made it, but hopefully with all the promotion we’ve been doing it will help.
It’s slowly warming up I think. Hope of a warm Texas and California is growing nearer with each day.
