After doing 100 pushups for the first time in my life yesterday, I am sore. Duh. It feels good though too. I am confident that I will be able to keep up my workout schedule on the road. There is a lot of time where we don’t have to do much, and I remind myself that I want to stay healthy and fit on the road. My goal is to be able to do 200 pushups by the end of the tour. I might be a big beefcake when I come back to CO. Mmmm beef.

After a great night in Manhattan, KS a very nice family agreed to let the whole band stay with them in their wonderful house a few miles outside of Manhattan. Apparently this is the home of THE official Wizard of Oz museum, and they have all sorts of cultural events connected to wizard of oz, such as Oztoberfest. It’s a very nice small town. Today is our day off. After driving 7ish hours here to make it in time to play that night, we were all pretty beat.
